Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist has died.Christ, what a confluence of events: Iraq's a mess, we're dealing with the worst natural disaster in American history, and now we've got two vacancies on the high court to fight over.
We're certainly living in interesting times.
Good thing the Republic is resilient.
