I like Mayor Villaraigosa. I really do.

I think it's great that he's a media-savvy, telegenic ambassador for the city of L.A. (the exact opposite, in fact, of former Mayor McBland). It's great for the city. It's great for his own political future.

This time, however, I think he's gone too far.

Way too far.
