Quick post on a busy Monday: I noticed that construction activity has begun on what is rumored to be a B of A branch at the corner of Franklin and Hillhurst (why we need yet another B of A is beyond me).

It’s true! The location will become the new home of the Vermont and Hollywood B of A (that location will close).

OK, didn't realize the Vermont location was closing. That makes sense. Wonder if the Albertson's location will stay open...
B of A said that it would keep the Albertson’s location open, however there has been some union talk about Albertson's changing to a Whole Foods... (other potential location for Whole Foods is the Derby site)

That's my dream: Albertson's becomes a Whole Foods, and the Derby stays as is.
I think Whole Foods is completely out of the proposed development there, anyway (this according to the developers themselves, at the GGPNC neighborhood meeting re: the Derby).
